Rafting In Colorado

Look to Colorado Adventure Center for exciting white water rafting adventures for every experience level, from scenic floats where you get a chance to view wildlife or sit quietly listening to nature, to heart-stopping Colorado whitewater rafting trips with crashing waves and heart-pumping paddling. Some trips offer both in one day!

You can go rafting in Colorado with us on four rivers across the central part of the state. Our multiple locations allow you to pick the best trip for your group, whether it’s for a half-day, full-day or multi-day Colorado whitewater rafting adventure.

As one of the early outfitters to take guests paddling on Clear Creek, we have a special affection for this waterway’s narrow, technical nature. The Creek shoots out of the Colorado mountains high atop the Continental Divide and rushes toward Denver at a steady clip. It’s rafting in Colorado as you’d expect it — exhilarating and stunning at the same time.

Of course we’ll take you for your Colorado white water rafting adventure on the Arkansas River. It’s the classic choice for visitors that offers majestic, colorful rock outcroppings inside exciting Browns Canyon. It’s the most popular trip in the USA among novices and experienced boaters alike.

Next up is the mighty Colorado River, source of life and fun for thousands of miles around. Near the headwaters, or “source,” of the Colorado River is a quiet, beautiful place called Little Gore Canyon. There, we offer float trips and a little bit more for you to enjoy some fun and relaxation.

Further downstream on the Colorado River near the town of Glenwood Springs, we provide rafting trips on an intermediate stretch called the Shoshone Rapids. It will delight and excite you!

Our fourth river is a little gem near Summit County called the Blue River. It’s a special place that flows at the whims of Mother Nature. Call to see if this short, winding river run will offer up flows during your stay.

To make your experience as easy as a lilly dip (that’s river talk for “light paddling”), Colorado Adventure Center operates all of its Colorado whitewater rafting trips from four base camp locations. We tell you where to meet us, then we provide everything you need including transport to and from the river.
